to String Beads! 20 years ago, I opened String Beads! in a tiny store in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan, with an even tinier inventory. I opened with the express idea that people would come in, buy their beads or jewelry and then be on their merry way. I was surprised that so many customers brought in broken jewelry hoping for repair and, naturally, I soon began to repair pieces of jewelry. Today, with the unwavering support of two beautiful children, two loving dogs, and loads of wonderful customers, String Beads! is a bead store that caters to discriminating beaders. We are a little haven of retail where you still get offered a cup of coffee or juice, and someone is always ready to answer any question. We have a variety of beautiful pieces to choose from - perfect for gift giving or a little something for yourself. We create wedding jewelry and headpieces, and of course, we continue to do a superb job at beaded jewelry repair! I welcome you to email me with your bead or jewelry issues.
